Clark Lea said Thursday that Jared Curtis is banged up, that questionable is the right
marking for him, and that the injury is not long term but is challenging. He said
Curtis has done a little more in practice each day and that he is not ruling him out.
Blaze Berlowitz would take the snaps if Curtis cannot play.

availability report of the week, with no injury given. Georgia lists Tyriq Green,
Marcus Harrison and Amaris Williams out, and Nate Frazier, Isiah Canion and Chase
Linton questionable. Ellis Robinson IV does not appear on it at all.

Freshman Jared Curtis, the five-star who committed to Georgia and then flipped, threw
for 199 yards in that game and ran for a team-high 46. Kirby Smart said this week that
Curtis is a better athlete than he gets credit for.

Cornerback Alius Mayo of Modesto Junior College announced Tuesday that he is committing
to Georgia, flipping from California. He is the No. 1 junior college prospect in the
country per 247Sports and Rivals, and Georgia's only cornerback commitment in the 2027
class.

The October 10 game in Tuscaloosa has a time and a network: 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC,
the school announced Monday. It had been held in a night window rather than given a

The junior linebacker was honored Monday for the Oklahoma game: eight tackles, a
career high, with a tackle for loss, a sack and two fumble recoveries. He returned one
85 yards for a touchdown, which the school lists as the fourth longest fumble return
in Georgia history.

Georgia stayed second in both polls released Sunday, September 27, with six
first-place AP votes behind Texas. Florida beat Ole Miss 52–28 and jumped 13 spots
to eighth; Ole Miss dropped to ninth, Alabama moved up to seventh, and Missouri

Cornerback Ellis Robinson IV left the Oklahoma game in the second half with a leg
injury, and Kirby Smart said afterward that he "looks good," per the AJC and Yahoo
Sports. Running back Nate Frazier was a game-time decision and Chauncey Bowens
started in his place; asked how close Frazier was to returning, Smart did not answer.

Georgia forced four Oklahoma turnovers and led 28–0 at the half. Chris Cole recovered
two John Mateer fumbles and returned one 85 yards for a touchdown, the longest fumble
return by a Bulldog since 2015. Chauncey Bowens scored twice and Dwight Phillips Jr.

signed agreement obtained by the Athens Banner-Herald and reported Tuesday. Neither
school owes a buyout. Nine-game conference schedules in both leagues left no room for

Sooners defensive tackle David Stone hurt his left knee in a jog-through at Monday’s
practice. Brent Venables said Tuesday the knee “kind of popped out,” that the
X-rays showed no fracture, and that Stone put his pain at about a two out of 10.

be fine" and "day to day," and that he expects him to play against Oklahoma. Asked
about defensive back Tyriq Green, edge rusher Chase Linton and receiver Isiah Canion,
Smart said "They will all be back soon" without giving a date for any of them.

Georgia stayed second in both polls released Sunday, September 20, with three
first-place AP votes behind No. 1 Texas. Oklahoma, Saturday's opponent, dropped out of
the AP Top 25 entirely after beating New Mexico 14–6; the Sooners are 26th on points
received and remain No. 24 in the Coaches Poll. Ole Miss jumped to fourth in the AP
after beating LSU, Alabama moved to eighth, Missouri is 19th, and Florida entered at
21st.

after Saturday's slate. The 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff goes to ESPN rather than ABC, which

The State of Georgia Sports Hall of Fame announced Thursday that receiver Terrence
Edwards, defensive lineman Richard Seymour and Georgia tennis champion Allen Miller
were elected to its 2027 class. Edwards still holds the school records for career
receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches. Seymour won three Super Bowls with
New England. Induction is February 19 and 20 in Macon.

said "week to week." Dante Dowdell, in a post reported by Georgia Bulldogs On SI and
UGA Wire, said he spent two months in the hospital after his July ATV accident; no

Kirby Smart said after the opener that pass rusher Chase Linton has a lower leg injury
and Georgia is "hoping to get him back." Cornerback Jontae Gilbert had surgery on a
metacarpal and "should be back playing next week," Smart said.
